Late May - Revised Plans for the Final 10 Stamps!

Based on our Bay Area adventure, we decided to do the Northern California trip as a 3 day trip.  We also had been planning to split Death Valley off as it's own trip so we could explore Scotty's Castle.

RW1 5 2 800   Sierras
RW3 4 3 1690   Northern California

The weekend trip to the Sierras might become 2 one day trips, one for the Eastern Sierras (2 parks), and one for the Western Sierras (3 parks).

Here is a brief description of the trips:

RD3 - A ride to Death Valley / Scotty's Castle.  Including a loop to Beatty for food.

RW1 - First day would see us going up the east side of the Sierras, ending up in Lee Vining for the night.  Then over Tioga Pass for the westerns Sierras.

RW3 - A trip up to the far north of California.  First Lassen and then to Alturas for the night.  The second day would be Lava Beds, then across southern Oregon to the Redwoods, finally staying the night in Eureka.  The third day would be a dash across the Klamath Mountains to Whiskeytown, then 500 miles home.
