Day 6 & 7 - Thursday & Friday, July 3 & 4, 2003 Montreal, PQ Didn't ride at all these days. Daily Journal: Thursday morning I removed the fairing and headlight and took out the blown bulbs. I then got a ride into work. The company I work for has a sales office and warehouse in Montreal. I was to spend the next few days working on their computer systems and doing some training. At lunch, I was taken to a local dealer and got some new bulbs. That evening, I put the bulbs in and had some help from my host family's middle son. I think he wants a bike. We also washed the bike. It was quite full of bugs, mostly mosquitoes. They really come out just as the sun was setting. On Friday, July 4th, the company had a holiday of sorts. They closed down for the afternoon, had a catered lunch, and then everyone went to a bowling alley for some fun. I really suck at bowling. Still it was a blast. That night, we had a BBQ on the patio and swam in the pool. |
