Since I did ½ of one of my previously planned trips, I add a new plan for the missing stamps from that trip.  I also work up some alternatives, like adding a day to the AZ trip, adding a new Utah trip (both of these will allow me to take it a bit easier on the grand trip), possibly doing a SS1000 as part of a San Francisco trip.  I also even looked at an alternative that would allow me to visit my mom while she was in AZ next month (she lives in a motor home full time – you never know where she will be).  I planned the gas stops for such a trip (I only feel comfortable getting gas every 130 miles max on the Rex – I have done 180 miles, but it was close – it seems to take 4.3 gallons when empty and if I keep under 80mph, I can do 38-42mpg) and look forward to riding on the weekend of March 8/9, weather permitting.  I also find a site with a more detailed listing of the stamp locations to add to my planning arsenal - LincOn.com-Index of NPS sites with Passport Cancellations.
