While the KLR is a good all purpose bike, I just wanted a little something extra when it came to long distances on the pavement.  I found it with this bike.  I still have the same upright seating position as the KLR, but way more power, and a higher cruising speed.  Not as much vibrations, either.  As of August, 2008, I have 56,600 miles on the Rex.

Now that I have the Connie, I may be inclined to modify the Rex for more canyon riding and less distance riding.

Currently, I just use the ZRX for commuting, although Michael did put on 850 miles during the Sierra Trip.  As of 6/30/2008, there are 59,615 miles on the clock.
